Position: Casual Performance Staff

Venue: New Wimbledon Theatre

New Wimbledon Theatre has vacancies within its busy Front of House Performance Staff team. You should be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, covering at least 4 shifts per week to include Thursday matinees.

These positions involve bar work.

Key Responsibilities:

• To provide general assistance and guidance to all customers in order to promote customer care.
• To to provide accurate product knowledge and customer care to all visitors.
• To maximise front of house sales through effective selling techniques, including, but not limited to up-selling.
• To ensure all security and cash handling procedures are adhered to with regard to specific sales areas.
• To ensure the cleanliness of the FOH areas, including bars, at all times to create positive impressions for all customers.
• When ushering carry out the ‘pick-up’ at the end of the performance.
• To work in any sales area as requested.

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Good communicator

• Confident and calm under stress, with a good sense of humour
• Able to work as part of a team
• An enthusiasm for live theatre
