Regent Theatre Announces Panto Cast for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Hi ho, hi ho, it’s off to Stoke-on-Trent we go for The Regent Theatre’s spectacular family pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Following three critically acclaimed, record-breaking years with Mother Goose, Aladdin and Cinderella, we can officially announce that Jonathan Wilkes will be returning to star in his fourth Regent Theatre Panto! Jonathan is cast as the dashing Prince Charming.

This year Jonathan is joined by none other than star of screen and stage, Claire Sweeney! Claire is no stranger to The Regent, having starred in hit productions of Guys and Dolls and more recently, Shout and we are delighted that Claire has decided to spend Christmas with us. Claire will be getting audiences booing and hissing as she takes on the role of the Wicked Queen!

Get ready for the ultimate Panto adventure as the Wicked Queen, with the help from her evil Henchman, tries her hardest to woo the Prince away from Snow White, and then journey deep into the magical forest to meet seven loveable and hilarious dwarfs.

The Regent’s pantomimes have become firm fixtures on festive calendars across the region and are notorious for traditional story-telling, fantastic special effects, dazzling sets and costumes, sensational songs and dance routines and great big helpings of fun, laughter and audience participation. Tickets for Snow White are already at a record-breaking high so book now to avoid disappointment!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is produced by First Family Entertainment, a pioneering and exciting partnership between Live Nation and Ambassador Theatre Group, which will ensure that our pantos offer the very best in traditional, professional, top quality family entertainment.

Now in its fourth year, the company is producing 12 high quality pantomimes for the Christmas 2008/2009 season.
