JANE KRAKOWSKI AND DOUGLAS HODGE TO JOIN EWAN McGREGOR IN MICHAEL GRANDAGE'S NEW PRODUCTION OF "GUYS & DOLLS" - OPENS 1st JUNE, PICCADILLY THEATRE

Broadway star Jane Krakowski will make her West End debut as ‘Miss Adelaide’ alongside Douglas Hodge as ‘Nathan Detroit’. They join Ewan McGregor playing ‘Sky Masterson’ in Michael Grandage’s new Donmar Warehouse production of GUYS AND DOLLS.
GUYS AND DOLLS will open at the Piccadilly Theatre on Wednesday 1 June, following previews from 19 May. The Box Office at the Piccadilly Theatre is now open for public bookings on 0870 060 0123.
Jane Krakowski won a Tony Award in 2003 for her role as the sensual ‘Carla’ in Nine and she was also nominated for her performance as ‘Flaemmchen’ in Grand Hotel. She won a Golden Globe Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Ally McBeal, and was recently seen opposite Jude Law in Alfie. Douglas Hodge’s extensive work on the London stage includes The Caretaker (for which he won an Olivier Award), Three Sisters opposite Kristin Scott Thomas, ‘Laertes’ in A Winter’s Tale for the RSC and, most recently, Dumb Show at the Royal Court, for which he was nominated for the Evening Standard Best Actor Award. His television and film work includes the new film Vanity Fair, Middlemarch and Redcap.
Frank Loesser’s classic musical is based on the stories of Damon Runyon and Michael Grandage’s production will be the first new production in London for 23 years.
With music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and a book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, GUYS AND DOLLS will be designed by Christopher Oram, with choreography by Rob Ashford, musical supervision by Jae Alexander, lighting by Howard Harrison and sound by Terry Jardine and Chris Full.
The production will be directed by the Donmar's Artistic Director Michael Grandage and presented by Howard Panter for the Ambassador Theatre Group and David Ian for Clear Channel Entertainment, in association with the Donmar’s own production team. This will be their first collaboration outside of the Donmar's 250-seat auditorium.
Performance times will be Mondays - Saturdays at 7.30pm, with Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm. Tickets, priced from £20.00 - £55.00, are available from the Box Office on 0870 060 0123.
