Position: Box Office Sales Assitant - Old Vic Theatre, London
HOURS:40 - FIVE OUT OF SIX DAYS
REPORTING TO:BOX OFFICE MANAGER
Job Purpose
Maximising income from ticket and ancillary sales through effective customer care and sales techniques. Focusing on team participation when assisting the box office in achieving goals and meeting deadlines.
The Ideal Candidate Will Meet The Following Criteria:

- Able to work unsupervised
- Able to deal with a variety of situations and problems
- Strong communication skills
- Accurate with strong attention to detail
- Adaptable and co-operative
- Flexible approach to working unsociable hours
- Enthusiastic participant in training and development programmes
DESIRABLE
- Experience of using the ENTA computerised ticketing system
- Experience of working within a sales/customer service environment
- Cash handling experience
- An interest in the arts and live entertainment
