Tom, Dick and Harry

by Ray Cooney and Michael Cooney

Tom and his wife are adopting a baby - it's the happiest day of their lives - or it would have been if Tom's brothers, Dick and Harry, hadn't decided to help. The result of Dick and Harry's 'assistance' produces two illegal immigrants, a dead body and a van load of contraband cigarettes.

With the arrival of the Supervisor from the Adoption Agency and the Police Constable, Tom's ingenuity is stretched to the limit. But things couldn't get worse...or could they?

The ever helpful plans of Dick and Harry continue to go haywire and they further lumber Tom with a Russian Mafia mobster and a reality TV programme. Then it starts to get complicated!

So begins this hilarious new comedy from the Cooney comedy stable. Ray Cooney is one of the UK's most successful comedy playwrights. His many credits include Out of Order and Run for Your Wife. In addition he is also an accomplished comedy actor and founder of the Theatre of Comedy Company. Michael's theatre credits include Cash on Delivery (Whitehall Theatre) and he is also a well-known film screenwriter having written hits such as Identity, which stars John Cusack.

The talented McGann brothers Joe, Stephen and Mark take the title roles of brothers in this production. Between them they have many television and theatre credits which include The Upper Hand, Rockliffe's Babies, Night & Day, Shackleton, Emmerdale, Educating Rita, Take a Chance On Me, The Water Babies and Imagine. In addition, Stephen is also a talented writer, penning the original storyline for the BBC drama The Hanging Gale, which starred all four McGann brothers.

The cast also includes Louise Jameson (EastEnders), Hannah Waterman (EastEnders) and Mark Wingett (The Bill)
