Ever wondered what the theatre looks like from the actors’ viewpoint? How glamorous are the dressing rooms? Is the King’s home to any ghosts? How has the theatre changed over the century? The King’s Theatre offer talks and tours to schools and groups across the country. King’s Theatre staff will come to your meeting place or school to deliver a talk about the theatre. Tours will take you all around the theatre, exploring all the nooks and crannies! Both sessions cover the history of the King's Theatre, basic technical aspects and theatrical superstitions. Approximately one hour 15 minutes in length, these sessions are an excellent way to learn more about Scotland’s only Grade A listed theatre. Talks The talks are aimed at groups of 30 people or less in your setting and the fee is £30.00. Tours You can book a tour any time or combine a tour with a matinee performance of any show and your group can bring in lunch to eat at the theatre before the show. Tours are £30.00 although this fee redeemable against a group booking. Please phone the education department on 0141 240 1309 to book. |
