Northbound on the M8
Exit at Junction 19 and follow signs for the City Centre. At the first set of traffic lights turn left into Pitt Street, then first left into St Vincent Street and then second right into Elmbank Street. Turn first left into Elmbank Crescent and the car park is on your right.
Southbound on the M8
Take the right hand lane to exit at Junction 18 and follow signs for Charing Cross and Kelvingrove. Staying in the left hand lane turn left into Sauchiehall Street and then right into Elmbank Street. Turn first right into Elmbank Crescent and the car park* is on your right.
Eastbound from A814 Clydeside Expressway
Turn left from the Expressway for M8 (signed Stirling, Edinburgh, Carlisle) but do not join the motorway. Follow the A804 towards Charing Cross, moving towards the middle lane. At the third set of traffic lights turn right into Sauchiehall Street and then second right into Elmbank Street. Turn second right into Elmbank Crescent and the car park* is on your right.
*Parking
The Elmbank Crescent car park has re-opened following full refurbishment.
You can now pay on foot before you leave - there's no need to have change
ready when you arrive. Credit cards are accepted.
There are three main alternatives, all around ten minutes' walk from the theatre. Our recommendation for evening parking is Glasgow City Council's 900-space multi-storey in Cambridge Street. This 24-hour pay on foot car park has lifts, CCTV, wheelchair accessible toilets (but no orange badge spaces), and has a Secured Car Parks award. Charges for the first three hours are 60p per hour thereafter £1.20 per hour before 6pm Mon-Sat but only £1 to park for as long as you wish after 6pm. Allow for a ten minute walk to the theatre. You can park for up to six hours for £5 at Direct Parking's 145-space car park at the Hilton Hotel, although this is often full. The Sauchiehall Centre closes at 6.30pm on weekdays and daytime charges are identical to those at Cambridge Street.
