Position: Casual Technicians

Venue: New Wimbledon Theatre

MAIN PURPOSE
We are looking for enthusiastic reliable crew to join our back of house team for our busy autumn season.

New Wimbledon Theatre is a beautiful Edwardian Grade II listed building, built in 1910 and approaching its centenary year. Its current capacity is approximately 1600 making it one of the largest theatres in London. The venue also houses the New Wimbledon Studio, a 50-80 seat ‘black box’ studio theatre with flexible seating. We host a huge variety of touring shows – this Autumn we will take 30 productions through our doors across the two venues.

Duties will include fit ups and get outs, show crewing (including stage, flys, and electrics and follow spotting), maintenance work, pat testing and backstage housekeeping.

You should work well as part of a team, be confident and calm under pressure with a keen attention to detail. Experience of stage crewing, flying, or electrics is desirable.
