Comedy in 'a class' of its own
Nathaniel Parker (Inspector Lynley Mysteries, Bleak House and Nuremburg) and Christopher Timothy (All Creatures Great and Small, Doctors) star in
Quartermaine's Terms
Nathaniel Parker, Christopher Timothy and one of the UK’s greatest playwrights, Simon Gray (Butley, Holy Terror, A Common Pursuit) join forces in a brand new production of the funny and wickedly sharp Quartermaine’s Terms.
Voted as one of the top one hundred plays of the century by the National Theatre, Quartermaine’s Terms colourfully portrays the lives of teacher St. John Quartermaine and the teachers of Cull-Loomis school. Quartermaine is one of those people who never quite manages to make an impact. He works at a struggling school in Cambridge teaching English to foreign students, but fails to inspire. His colleagues, however, lead varied and exciting lives around him, while Quartermaine bumbles along, trying desperately to be liked and accepted -resulting in some painfully funny situations.
One of the nations favourite actors, Nathaniel Parker leads an impressive cast in this award winning play shining with intelligent humour and sharply observed wit. Book now.
