Following The Regent Theatre’s extensive refurbishment, the venue is extremely access friendly. To ensure that we make your visit as enjoyable as possible, please always advise our Box Office when booking if you have any disability or access requirements.
- Disabled Concessions Available on most productions for disabled people and a companion. Check brochure or with Box Office for details.
- Disabled Parking Spaces – A limited number of spaces available on Pall Mall car park across the road from The Regent Theatre. A larger number of spaces available on the John Street car park 5 minutes away. Customers may be dropped off on Pall Mall at the side of the theatre but parking is not permitted.
- Wheelchair Spaces on all auditorium levels – Stalls and Circle.
- Lift Access to all areas of the building including Box Office, toilets and bars.
- Low Level Counter access at Box Office and Bars.
- Guide Dogs Welcome in all areas. Water bowls provided for guide dogs.
- Audio Described Performances on a selection of productions – Allows visually impaired people to listen to a live verbal commentary during the show via infra-red head sets. (Headsets funded by RNIB Stoke and Hanley Economic Building Society). Ask staff on arrival for headsets.
- Audio Described Performances preceded by a Touch Tour which should be requested in advance and is subject to having access to stage.
- British Sign Language Interpreted Performances on a selection of productions.
- Large Print Brochures available.
- Audio Described Brochures available in cassette format.
- Infra-red Hearing System in place. A necklace loop that amplifies the sound via your hearing aid, or a headset that can amplify the sound without a hearing aid. Ask staff on arrival for headsets.
- Backstage Tours – Accessible to wheelchair users.
