Tony Robinson's Cunning Night Out!
Using his most famous character as a
reference point, Tony Robinson presents
an amusing, revisionist view of history
that champions the little guy. Through
Agincourt and the Somme, to his own
experiences as a skiving schoolboy, via
Blackadder and the archaeology show,
Time Team, Robinson brings home the
message that your ancestors suffered
in ways you can scarcely imagine.
‘He is never less than charming,
funny and enthusiastically erudite.’
The Scotsman
Tony Robinson is the Patron of Street Child Africa. All proceeds of this performance will go to Street Child Africa, which is the only UK charity working solely with street children across Africa. Street Child Africa is based in Thames Ditton, Surrey and works through nine local partners in seven African countries. Street Child Africa needs to raise £1 million to reach out to 40,000 street children in 2007.
