The theatre is situated in New Road opposite the Royal Pavilion. By Train The Theatre Royal is situated only five minutes walk from Brighton rail station, frequent train services serve London and the South-East. By Car From the M23/A23, follow the signs to the town centre. There is parking nearby for over 3,000 cars. In order to enjoy a relaxed evening at the theatre, please allow sufficient time for your walk to the theatre after parking your car. The Lanes underground car park is only a few minutes away in Black Lion Street and you can park their for only £5.80 for four hours. This car park will be fully refurbished later this year (2008) with improved lighting, decor and equipment for credit/debit card payments. Alternatively Trafalgar Street Car Park provides a cheap parking rate. the closest facility is NCP Theatre Car Park in Church Street where evening theatre visitors enjoy a 50% discount, if parking after 6pm. Simply insert your parking ticket in the special validation machine in the Theatre which will recode the discount for you. Ask a member of staff if you require assistance.
