BRINGS THE HOUSE DOWN. A REAL HOOT The Daily Telegraph (2006)

The New Statesman

By Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran

Following last year’s hilarious smash hit, comedy genius Rik Mayall (The Young Ones, Bottom) returns for more political and sexual shenanigans in this brand new instalment.

As Blair prepares for his farewell tour, Alan B’Stard is running the country and more importantly trying to gain entry to the exclusive Trillionaires Club comprising 8 shadowy figures who own the world’s oil (3 yanks, 2 Arabs, an Indian, a Russian and that guy who invented milk cartons). Condoleezza Rice has the key, but will she allow Alan access all areas?

'Mayall's star power ensure pure apolitical pleasures' - The Times (2006)
