OUTSTANDING MUSIC AND DANCE COLLABORATION Rambert Dance Company: Eternal Light Tour 2009with its Associate Orchestra London Musici Rambert Dance Company returns with a brand new programme, featuring Eternal Light, a major new collaboration between Artistic Director Mark Baldwin and composer Howard Goodall. Set to a sensational and elegiac new score, this dazzling work is played live by London Musici and features a live choir. Sumptuous designs from production designer Michael Howells (Constant Speed, Galliano, Dior, film) feature sparkling crystals donated by Swarovski and striking headdress designs from fashion milliner Stephen Jones. The performance also includes the gorgeous and endearing Carnival of the Animals by renowned British choreographer Siobhan Davies, plus a trio of short works by Rambert's own talented and versatile dancer/choreographers. Rambert's 22 dancers are among the finest and most versatile in the world and uplifting live music from London Musici superbly enhances the Rambert experience.
