Oklahoma!
Set outside the town of Claremore in 1906, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! tells the story of cowboy Curly McLain and his romance with farmer girl Laurey Williams, but their love is challenged by Laurey’s threatening farmhand, Jud Fry.
Follow a conman, a flirty young girl and her boyfriend whilst enjoying Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’, People will say we’re in Love, The Surrey with the Fringe on Top, I Cain’t say No! and of course the title song to end all title songs, Oklahoma.
Presented by this long-established group of amateurs with the professional touch, Oklahoma! will send you home with a happy heart. So sit back, relax and imagine clear blue skies and wide open spaces…
Sense Scotland will benefit from this production.
Based on the book ‘Green grow the Lilacs’ by Lynn Riggs. By arrangement with Josef Weinberger Limited on behalf of R & H Theatricals.
