The Stephen Petronio Company
Master choreographer Stephen Petronio is as famed for his collaborations as for the quality of his dance, and in 2 of the pieces to be performed in Glasgow (Bud Suite and Bloom) his partnership with musician Rufus Wainwright takes his work onto a new level. The final piece, Lareign, is set-to The Strangler’s No More Heroes.
Petronio doesn’t tell stories, instead he makes beautiful pictures by getting his dancers to perform some of the most demanding twists and turns you’ll see on a stage today giving him a reputation as one of the great choreographers of the moment.
