Floodtide present the world premiere production of
Fair
by Joy Wilkinson Directed by Helen Eastman
Designed by James Cotterill Lighting Design by Neil Brinkworth
Sound Design by Fergus Mount
Burnley writer, Joy Wilkinson confronts the racism brewing in Britain's
northern towns and beyond. What's turning young people to the right? How
and why are the BNP managing to recruit?
This is a dizzying new roller coaster of a play set in the heat of the
fairground where it's not so easy to tell right from left, wrong
from right, black from white.
'Brilliant... a searing yet subtle examination of our modern 'fair
Britain' Time Out
'A fascinating play, a play that had something important to say about
the battle between sentimental nationalism and outward looking
multiculturalism' Michael Billington in Theatregoer
