1936 lloks at the events prior to the 1936 Olympics through the eyes of the famous American journalist William Shirer. The stakes were high, the game played out on the world stage. The Nazis needed recognition; the German Jews were under threat. America was uneasy, the International Olympic Committee out of touch...it all rested on the few. Watch Brundage, Hitler, Goebbels and the politicians deal thge cards while the athletes persue their dreams...
